Choose your stone

Bring us a slab you already love, or let us walk the local yards with you. Here’s how the four we work with most compare.

Granite waterfall island with dramatic veining

Granite

A natural igneous stone — extremely hard, heat-resistant, and no two slabs alike. Every kitchen gets a one-of-a-kind pattern. A periodic seal keeps it stain-resistant for years.

Best for: busy kitchens & outdoor counters

Quartz island in an open-plan kitchen

Quartz

Engineered from ground natural quartz and resin. Non-porous, so it never needs sealing, resists stains, and gives you consistent colour from slab to slab.

Best for: low-maintenance kitchens & baths

Bookmatched quartzite waterfall island

Quartzite

A natural stone that looks like marble but is harder than granite. You get the soft veining people love with far more durability — the material other shops get nervous cutting. We don’t.

Best for: marble looks with real toughness

Bookmatched stone feature wall in a wet bar with wine columns

Marble & Specialty

Classic marble veining plus specialty stones and bookmatched feature walls for the pieces meant to be noticed. Softer and more porous, so we’ll walk you through where it shines and how to care for it.

Best for: baths, bars & feature walls
